If not sold as part of a kit, each EZ Claw tensioner requires a model-specific mounting bracket to attach to the back of a semi-cab. Each flange mount short is laser-cut and robotically welded. Mounting hardware is included, and the zinc-plated and powder-coated finish resists rust and ensures longevity.

The EZCFMBS Short Mount provides 8" of clearance and is intended for use on trucks with shorter wheelbases or shorter than a normal cab-to-trailer clearances. This bracket fits the following make and model of semi tractors:

- Freightliner Cascadia Sleeper Cab
- Freightliner Columbia Sleeper Cab
- Kenworth Day Cab or Sleeper Cab
- Peterbilt Day Cab or Sleeper Cab
- International Sleeper Cab
